About Us - Reveco

Our History

We started as a simple activist group but have since grown into a full-fledged non-for-profit that is capable of taking on the biggest challenges we face environmentally. Here’s a quick look at how we got to where we are today.

1999
Our first set of members got together in a garage to plan community sustainability awareness events and a local recycling group.

2002
We officially organized into a nonprofit. This was a big step for us since it finally enabled us to fully apply 100% of donated funds to our cause.

2010
Our second office opened overseas and we became a true global organization.

2016
This year we expanded and we are officially included as a third party office in WWF’s network, as well as set goals to be under Greenpeace’s umbrella, leaving us a goal to reach Antartica by 2019.
